Tapit Partners is a group of deeply experienced early-stage technology executives.

In forming Tapit Partners, we've created the entrepreneur-friendly group we each wish we'd had when we were building our own companies - one that actually helps you grow the business.

What we're not is venture investors, although we are very well connected in the venture community and can put you together with the 'right' people if and when appropriate.

What we are is very active investors of our most valuable asset: our time. We work with a very small number of early-stage companies where we believe that the idea, the technology, the market, and the people - plus our help - can combine to create a successful company. We look for companies that are ready to transition from development mode to commercialization, as well those whose technology has yet to find the right market niche.

We also consult with a very limited number of large enterprises, advising senior management at the strategic level, as well as helping them work successfully with early-stage companies.

Above all, we have a deep respect for what it takes to grow a startup, because we've done it ourselves. We're all veterans, having started, run, grown, sold, IPO'd, and even shut down companies. Our expertise covers the gamut: sales, marketing, business development, finance, engineering, and general management. We've personally raised well over $100 million for our various endeavors from top venture capitalists and strategic investors as well as friends and family. We have senior contacts in every sector, both public and private, both in the US and overseas.

And we've all had to make payroll.
